Crazy 4

Objective:
Create the strongest 4 card poker hand possible

Card ranking from high to low:
Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2

Ace can also act as a 1 for straights

Minimum number of players:
2 (1 player plus dealer)

Decks:
Played with a simulated 1 decks that get reshuffled after every round.

Betting scheme: 

Players start by placing an ante bet and a super bonus bet. Both of these bets must be equal.


Dealing procedure:

 
Each player will be dealt 5 cards face down then the dealer
Players will look at their hand and try to create the best hand possible using 4 out of the  cards
If the player doesn’t like their hand they have the option to fold. Folding forfeits all bets and any side bets
If the player decides not to fold they must make an additional Play bet
The play bet can be up to 3 times the player's ante as long as they have a pair of aces or better otherwise the play bet is equal to the ante.
The dealer will then flip his cards and create the best 4-card hand.
The player and dealer's hand will be compared to determine who wins. 
The dealer's hand must qualify with a king or better.


Payouts:

  1. The Ante bet pays as follows:

    • Dealer does not qualify: Ante pushes.

    • Dealer qualifies and player wins: Ante wins.

    • Dealer qualifies and ties: Ante pushes.

    • Dealer qualifies and player loses: Ante loses.

  2. The Play bet pays as follows:

    • Dealer does not qualify: Play wins.

    • Dealer qualifies and player wins: Play wins.

    • Dealer qualifies and ties player: Play pushes.

    • Dealer qualifies and player loses: Play loses.

  3. The Super Bonus bet pays as follows:

    • Player has straight or higher (beating dealer not required): Super Bonus wins according to the pay table below.

    • Dealer qualifies, player has less than straight, and player wins or pushes: Push.

    • Dealer qualifies, player has less than straight, and dealer wins: Loss.

    • Dealer does not qualify: Push.

Four aces: 200:1

Four of a kind: 30:1

Straight Flush 15:1

Three of a kind: 15 to 1

Flush: 3:2

Straight 1:1

Queens up:

Queens up pays when the player has a pair of queens or better.

Four of a kind: 50:1

Straight Flush: 40:1

Three of a kind: 7:1

Flush: 4:1

Straight: 3:1

Two pairs: 2:1

Pair of queens or better: 1:1
