Game Rules

  • Objective: play one to four bingo cards, watch the balls being called and complete a winning pattern on your cards. Each card pays for the best pattern it completes.
  • Choose your game: pick 75-ball or 90-ball before you play. You can change game between rounds, not during one.
  • 75-ball: each card is a 5x5 grid under the letters B-I-N-G-O. Column B holds numbers 1 to 15, I holds 16 to 30, N holds 31 to 45, G holds 46 to 60 and O holds 61 to 75. The centre square is free and always counts as marked. 35 of the 75 balls are called.
  • 75-ball patterns: a Line is any row, column or diagonal and pays 2 times your bet. Four Corners pays 5 times. Two Lines (any two) pays 6 times. An X, which is both diagonals, pays 60 times. A card pays only its best pattern, so a card that completes Two Lines pays 6 times, not 6 plus 2. A diagonal needs only four numbers because the centre is free.
  • 90-ball: each ticket is 3 rows by 9 columns holding 15 numbers, five in every row and between one and three in every column. Column one holds 1 to 9, column two 10 to 19 and so on up to the last column, which holds 80 to 90. 55 of the 90 balls are called.
  • 90-ball patterns: One Line is a row with all five of its numbers called and pays 3 times your bet. Two Lines pays 15 times. A Full House, all 15 numbers, pays 400 times. A ticket pays only its best pattern.
  • Placing a bet: choose how many cards to play (1 to 4), enter your bet per card and press Play. Every card costs the bet amount, so your total bet is the bet times the number of cards. Gold Coins and Diamonds each have their own balance, and you can switch between them between rounds.
  • The draw: a cage spins and the balls are called one at a time. Numbers on your cards are marked as they come out. Press Skip to call the rest of the balls straight away.
  • Extra balls: when the draw is finished you can collect what you are holding or buy 5 more balls for all your cards. The price is worked out from your cards as they stand: it is what the 5 extra balls are worth to those cards on average, plus a margin of 8%, rounded up to the next cent. Cards that are close to a pattern are worth more, so they cost more. Numbers that are one ball from completing a line glow on your cards. You can buy extra balls once a round, and buying them can only help your cards, but the price is set so that over time it costs more than it returns.
  • Payout: your payout is the sum of what each of your cards pays for its best pattern, as a multiple of your bet. It is added to your balance when you collect or when the extra balls have been called.
  • Odds, 75-ball: with 35 balls called, a card completes a Line as its best pattern 21.05% of the time, Four Corners 3.52%, Two Lines 4.31% and an X 0.14%, so about 29% of cards pay something. The return is 93.94%, a house edge of 6.06%.
  • Odds, 90-ball: with 55 balls called, a ticket completes One Line as its best pattern 20.76% of the time, Two Lines 1.46% and a Full House 0.026% (about 1 in 3,800), so about 22% of tickets pay something. The return is 94.50%, a house edge of 5.50%.
  • Playing more cards does not change your edge: every card is paid on its own and is worth the same.
  • Limits: the bet per card is from 0.10 to 250.
