Game Rules
- Objective: have a higher card than the dealer.
- Card ranking from high to low: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.
- Minimum players: 2 (1 player plus the dealer).
- Played with a simulated 8-deck shoe that is reshuffled after every round.
- To participate in a round, a player must place a primary bet. Placing a primary bet also allows the player to place an optional tie side bet.
- After all players place their bets, cards are dealt to each player from the dealer's left to right, ending with the dealer.
- The dealer then compares their card to each player's card, going from left to right.
- If a player's card is higher than the dealer's card, the player wins and the dealer loses.
- If the dealer's card is higher than a player's card, the dealer wins and the player loses.
- If a player and the dealer have equal cards, the player may surrender or go to war.
- Surrendering forfeits half of the player's initial wager.
- Going to war requires an additional bet equal to the initial primary bet. The player is then dealt three cards face down (burn cards) and one card face up, and the dealer receives the same. Whoever has the higher face-up card wins.
- If the face-up cards tie again, the player wins 2:1 on the war bet and the main bet pushes.
- The optional tie side bet pays 10:1 if the player's first card matches the dealer's first card.
- Once all comparisons and war outcomes are resolved, the table is cleared for the next round.
